Residential mortgage servicing Wingspan to cut 459 jobs

CARROLLTON – Wingspan Portfolio Advisors LLC plans to lay off 459 people on Dec. 31, at the 18451 Dallas Pkwy. facility. The mass layoff is a direct result of the cancellation of a client contract.

Wingspan, a Carrollton-based residential mortgage servicing company, says it will do its best to place employees affected by this layoff who desire to remain with the company in other available positions for which they are qualified.

Wingspan had hired some 600 people for a contract earlier this year at the Dallas Pkwy. location, Gramercy Center South. Wingspan had around 1,500 employees prior to the layoff announcement.
