HOUSTON - PM Realty Group has broken ground on a 40-story apartment tower called 2929 Weslayan at the northeast corner of Weslayan St. and W. Alabama.
The tower was originally announced to have 35 stories. At the new height, it could be the tallest rental tower in the city. The original plans called for a tower with 250 units ranging in size from 850 to 3,200 sf.
It is also PM Realty’s first multifamily development in Houston. The company unveiled the project last September after acquiring the 2.6-acre site from Interfin Cos.
Across the street from PM's tower, Martin Fein expects to begin construction on 550 units on the southwest corner of Weslayan and W. Alabama.
