DENISON - Vertical construction is expected to begin on the new 300,000-sf Denison High School by the end of November, according to Darren Lee with Balfour Beatty.
The $57.5 million project will consist of classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, three gymnasiums, an indoor athletic center and playing fields.
The classroom wing slab is approximately 67 percent complete including: site paving, approximately 90 percent; and site utilities, 95 percent. Construction on the site retaining walls has begun as well.
