MIDLAND - Midland County real estate continues to sail into uncertain conditions, with fewer homes sold year-over-year for April and a drop in the number of homes on the market from March, according to figures from the Permian Basin Board of Realtors.

The figures show that there were 490 homes on the market in April, compared to 533 in March.

Year-over-year for April there were 68 percent more homes on the market, echoing the large increase in homes on the market from the previous three months of 2015.

Average sale prices were at $261,097, a 3.9 percent decrease from April 2014, while median prices were up 1.8 percent at $232,053.
