TEXAS – Texas ranked No. 3 in the United States for mortgage-related job gains in third quarter 2012, according to Mortgage Daily’s Mortgage Employment Index.
Michigan added 1,442 mortgage-related jobs during 3Q 2012, the best of any other state. Iowa gained 1,229 positions, and Texas gained 609 jobs.
Nationwide, the mortgage industry experienced a net gain of 2,926 jobs, compared to a net gain of 1,335 people hired during 2Q 2012.
