KILLEEN - The 11,000-sf Courtyard by Marriott has opened at 1721 E. Central Texas Expy. The hotel has 148 rooms and meeting space to accommodate functions up to 500 people.

After the Convention Center, it is the largest facility in the area, according to Maria Karsky, general manager of Courtyard Killeen.
