Monte Alto Blue Devils first new high school

MONTE ALTO, HIDALGO COUNTY – Construction is complete on Monte Alto’s first-ever high school. The $12 million facility has 30 classrooms and is designed for up to 750 students.

The unincorporated community that makes up the rural northeast Hidalgo County district had about 1,900 residents during the 2010 census.
