ROCKWALL – Rockwall County is the fastest growing retail market in the state, more than double the next highest market, according to the Texas Retail Survey 2012.
Using 2011 retail sales data, Rockwall County has been the fastest growing retail market at 17.9 percent, followed by Randall County at 7 percent.
The study looked at new retail market growth rates for the 50 largest county retail markets in Texas, ranked by annual retail sales growth from 2006-2011.
