CANYON – The $10.9 million, 42,880-sf expansion to the Jack B. Kelly Student Center at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) has officially opened. The expansion nearly doubled the size of the Buffalo’s student center, according to J. Patrick O’Brien, the university’s president.

The expansion includes office space, an information center, study spaces, meeting rooms and student senate chambers. The facility is equipped with new technology, such as high-definition projection screens that are capable of showing 3-D films.
