DALLAS – Turkish developer Mike Sarimsakci, of Alterra International LLC, purchased the long-vacated 18-story office tower at 211 N. Ervay St.

Plans for redeveloping the 190,000-sf office tower include a 250-room hotel and a 4,000-sf restaurant. The redevelopment project is expected to take nine months to a year, and cost an estimated $30 million.

Alterra International plans to begin abatement of the property in January 2013, with plans to clean up the exterior and add lighting to the building.
