Texas Tech adds nursing program in Amarillo

AMARILLO – The Texas Tech University School of Nursing will offer an online bachelor’s program for Texas Panhandle students with previous college degrees that will include coach and nurse educator oversight in Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, El Paso, Lubbock and the Permian Basin.

Students in the Amarillo program will train in Amarillo hospitals.

The school anticipates up to 15 students will begin the new program next fall.
