RICHARDSON – Champion Partners has purchased three office buildings in north Richardson that total 500,000 sf from Bank of America. The new acquisitions are located at 2375 Glenville Dr., which has two buildings, and 2380 Performance Dr.

The company plans to lease 311,000 sf of space to State Farm Insurance.

The deal is part of a much larger play by State Farm in North Texas. The company now has 2.5 million sf of office space under lease or coming online in the region and has begun hiring new employees for its Richardson office.

It recently signed the largest North Texas office lease in history, for 1.5 million sf at KDC Real Estate Development’s new $1.5 billion mixed-use development in Richardson. It also signed a lease for 291,496 sf of office space at 1011 Galatyn Pkwy., also owned by Champion Partners, in 2012.
