SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio figures for the apartment market are promising. As of fourth quarter 2012, the citywide rent for the apartment market in the San Antonio MSA was $785 a month — up from $760 a month as of 4Q 2011. The recent analysis was prepared by multifamily research firm RealFacts.

Also as of 4Q 2012, the local apartment market was reporting an occupancy rate of 93.4 percent — up slightly from the 93.2 percent rate posted a year ago.
