LONGVIEW – Longview ranks No. 6 out of 179 small metro areas, according a Milken Institute’s ranking of the nation’s best-performing small cities. Of the top ten best performing small cities, four were in Texas. Odessa ranked No. 4; Midland was No. 8; and Tyler ranked No. 9. The “small city” listing includes the nation’s 179 smallest Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs).
