DALLAS - Trinity Industries intends to spend more than $40 million to upgrade its headquarters at 2525 N. Stemmons Fwy. The ten-story office tower was built in 1974 and is valued for property taxes at only $3.6 million.
Trinity plans to make a significant investment to remodel three of its nine floors and upgrade its Oracle accounting system.
Trinity has asked the City of Dallas’ economic development department to support its application to the state for financial incentives. If approved, the designation could give Trinity up to $1.24 million in sales tax rebates.
The industrial, energy and transportation firm has 743 workers in Dallas.
