DALLAS – Houston-based developer Ainbinder Co. has acquired the former Steakley Chevrolet site on Northwest Hwy. east of North Central Expressway.

The new owners plan to build a major retail complex on the 13-acre property, which stretches from near Skillman St. to Abrams Rd.

Initial plans for the retail project, High Point Center, call for between 160,000 and 170,000 sf of multiple store space.

Construction will not start until next year at the earliest.
