Lennar buys land in Euless’ Riverwalk

EULESS – Lennar Corp. purchased 49 acres in the Riverwalk project at the northwest corner of SH 183 and SH 360. The property is adjacent to DFW International Airport.

Lennar plans to start on 200 homes in the first phase of the project. It expects to break ground by summer 2013. The first model home is scheduled to open in early 2014.

This is the first land sale in Riverwalk — a 194-acre mixed-use development that centers on a significant water feature — since the site was bought by Dallas-based Stratford Land in April 2011.
