CENTRAL TEXAS - There were 208 houses sold in Central Texas in January 2013, ten fewer than the 218 sold in January 2012, according to statistics from the Fort Hood Area Association of Realtors and Temple-Belton Board of Realtors MLS databases.
Average sales prices were down $9,500 in January. Although the drop seems dramatic, Eva Keagle, Realtor at ERA Colonial in Harker Heights, said such a drop is normal for this time of year.
Inventory levels increased in every city in the region except for Gatesville and Lampasas.
