Cabela’s to open Waco outpost

WACO – Cabela’s plans to open a new Cabela’s Outpost Store in the Central Texas Marketplace on I-35 in Waco. Work on the 42,000-sf store is scheduled to begin in March, according to Wes Remmer, Cabela’s spokesman.

The Waco store will employ approximately 100 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees, most of them hired locally.

It will be the fourth Cabela’s store in Texas, joining stores already operating in Fort Worth, Buda and Allen.
