Round Rock falls for H-E-B

ROUND ROCK – H-E-B officials will be coming to Round Rock in fall 2013. The new 120,000-sf store will be located on the north side of University Ave. between University Oaks Blvd. and Oakmont Dr. Construction of the new store is estimated at $11.5 million, according to state filings.

The store will encompass the second phase of development of the University Commons shopping center. The new store will offer live cooking demonstrations, a Healthy Living department, a large beer and wine selection, and separate sushi and deli counters.

The new H-E-B will create more than 300 new jobs, including a full management team.
