FORT WORTH - Dallas-based developer Centergy Retail purchased about 27 acres on West Seventh St. near Trinity Park from Chesapeake Land Development Co.

The land is just east of Montgomery Plaza and includes parcels along Stayton St. and Sixth St., and between Fifth St. on the south, Kansas St. on the north, Harold St. on the west and Greenleaf St. on the east.

The land is currently serving as a staging area for the new Seventh St. bridge fabrication.
