ALLEN – Plano-based development firm TIG Real Estate Services Inc. plans to build a new $31 million office building along the Sam Rayburn Tollway, which is the start of a large business park.

The six-story, 154,000-sf building, called Ridgeview Business Center, will sit on eight acres TIG has optioned from the Allen Economic Development Corp. between Stacy Rd. and North Watters Rd.

"There’s currently about 1,000 acres of corn on the south side of the Sam Rayburn Tollway and North Central Expressway, which is some of the best developable property in the city," stated Brad McJunkin, TIG’s director of acquisitions and development.

This is the first office building being planned for development in this corridor in Allen.

Construction will begin as soon as TIG preleases a quarter of the building, or 37,500 sf of space.
