San Angelo: Abbott’s building transforms to Super Mercado

SAN ANGELO – Super Mercado, a small Midland-based grocery store, will open a San Angelo location in the former Abbott’s Super Market building in the south side of the city at 1505 S. Chadbourne St.

The approximately 18,000-sf building is undergoing $150,000 in renovations, expected to be completed by April, said Mike Ford, general contractor of the project and owner of RM Ford Construction.
