Cummins Southern Plains parks in Mountain Creek

DALLAS – Cummins Southern Plains LLC plans to move into its new 187,810-sf sales and service facility in the Mountain Creek Business Park by the end of the year.

The Arlington-based equipment and engineering remanufacturing company broke ground on the 20-acre site, off Interstate 20 in South Dallas. Opening is expected in December.

The facility represents a $30 million investment and will employ 150 people.

Cummins received a seven-year property tax abatement from the City of Dallas towards 50 percent of the site’s improved value.
