Abilene sales tax receipts rise

ABILENE – Abilene’s sales tax receipts in March — reflecting January sales — increased by 12.21 percent, above the March 2012 figures, according to the state comptroller’s office.

Abilene had a sales tax rebate of $3,266,278. Last year, the city had $2,910,787.
