SAN ANTONIO - Home prices in the San Antonio-New Braunfels metropolitan area rose 0.7 percent between third quarter 2011 and 2012, according to a study by Fiserv Inc.
Fiserv is also forecasting that between third quarter 2012 and third quarter 2013, local home prices will rise another 0.8 percent.
Between third quarter 2013 and third quarter 2014, local home prices are expected to rise 4.4 percent.
The analysis is based on data compiled using the Case-Shiller Home Price Index — which tracks the pricing history of individual homes across 384 markets.
