SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio’s housing market is on a roll — boasting faster sell times, price increases and a healthy share of higher-end buyers, according to the latest analysis by the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR).

During the month of February, single-family homes spent 99 days on the market — a 4 percent drop from the number of days homes spent on the sales block in February 2012.

Homes under $200,000 continue to see the largest amount of sales activity — accounting for 66.1 percent of all home sales in February, 2013

But the upper end markets are seeing some play as well. SABOR statistics for the month of February reveal that 4.4 percent of all sales were for homes over $500,000. Another 29.6 percent of sales were for homes ranging in price from $200,000 to $500,000.

All told, a total of 1,379 homes were sold in February 2013 — up from 1,278 sales in February 2012, and 1,079 sales in February 2011.
