Lubbock among the top cities for college students

LUBBOCK – Lubbock ranked among the top 20 cities for college students in the American Institute for Economic Research’s (AIER) College Destinations Index.

Lubbock was ranked No. 11 out of 75 cities in the 2012-2013 Small Metros category, which shows how the location of a university contributes to its college experience.

A small metro area, the website reported, is determined to be between 250,000 and 1 million residents.
