PANTEGO – The owners of Westbury Square on Park Row Dr. near Bowen Rd. in Pantego recently razed the bulk of the 40-year-old shopping and office center and sold just under an acre tract to Woodhaven National Bank.

The land, just east of an Aldi grocery store, will become the site of a new branch location for Woodhaven’s Mercantile Bank, which operates in the shopping center a block east of Westbury Square, said Sharon Burran, Woodhaven president.

Construction of the branch will take place within the next year, said Burran.
