Aldi opens first Waco store

WACO – Aldi, a German-based, no-frills grocery chain, has opened its 16,000-sf store. Aldi is located at 1220 North Valley Mills Dr. adjacent to Lakewood Center.

In the same location, construction is nearly complete on the shell of an 8,500-sf center that will house Smashburger, Fantastic Sams, Mama Fu’s Asian House and Palm Beach Tan. Tenants are expected to open by mid-to-late summer.
