McGregor: Help wanted for space exploration

McGREGOR – SpaceX has job openings at its ground support and testing facility. Most of the positions are in California or Florida, but a few are right here in Texas where they have extensive propulsion and structural test facilities.

The openings for ground support and equipment and operations and engineering include:

• electrical engineer (instrumentation);
• ground support equipment engineer;
• ground Support Equipment Technician;
• machinist, and
• welder.

The openings for test operations and engineering include:

• electrical technician;
• general helper;
• instrumentation Technician;
• production coordinator;
• test engineer;
• test systems engineer, and
• test technician (propulsion).

There are also internship opportunities with the company for summer and fall 2013.
