SAN ANTONIO – McGuyer Homebuilders Inc. (MHI) is bringing its focus on energy efficiency to the San Antonio market. MHI will be pursuing LEED for Homes certification for its projects under the Wilshire Homes brand in San Antonio.

The first homes under the LEED-certification program are already under construction in one of the newest Wilshire communities — Woodside Village in the City of Boerne. Homes in Woodside will be priced from the $280,000s.

The commitment will result in 200 to 250 new LEED-certified Wilshire homes in the greater San Antonio area over the next 12 months. Within the next three to four years, MHI hopes to bring that number up to 400 to 500 LEED-certified Wilshire homes on an annual basis.
