San Antonio to play in new combo store

SAN ANTONIO – Retailer Toys “R” Us Inc. will open May 3 for the new Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us combo store at Westover Marketplace, located at the intersection of Loop 410 and SH 151.
Spanning 49,000 sf, the combo store is one of several anchors for Westover Marketplace.
The Westover Marketplace outlet will be the first Toys/Babies “R” Us combo store to be built from the ground up in San Antonio. The retailer plans to hire an additional 20 full- and part-time employees for the combo store.
As part of the debut of the combo store, the retailer will be closing a nearby Toys “R” Us store at 6955 NW Loop 410 that opened in 1997.
