Children’s 50,000-SF facility opens in New Braunfels

NEW BRAUNFELS – Oakwood Baptist Church has opened the new 50,000-sf building that will house classrooms to accommodate children through fifth grade. The $7.3 million building is located at 2154 Loop 337 N.

The structure features 36 classrooms, a general assembly room with a stage area, and a game room. Other features include a built-out tree in the preschoolers “Treehouse” room.

A skywalk connects the second story of the new building to the existing buildings, and a new playground has been constructed as well. A new prayer garden has been set up between the new building and existing buildings.
