Year-to-date, Lubbock’s sales tax revenues have totaled more than $19.68 million, 9.92 percent more than the $17.90 million received in the first four months of 2012.
Lubbock County’s share of sales tax collections will be more than $1.52 million, 10.2 percent more than in April 2012.
The funds that will be distributed Friday were collected from February business activity and paid to the state last month. Combs said total revenues were $1.98 billion statewide, a 5.5 percent gain from a year ago.
