ODESSA AREA - Houston’s Plains All American Pipeline LP is building the Cactus Pipeline in a $375 million project to connect crude oil from the Permian Basin in West Texas to the pipeline in the Eagle Ford it owns with Enterprise Products Partners.

The Cactus Pipeline will be a 310-mile, 20-inch crude oil pipeline from McCamey to Gardendale. The pipeline is expected to be in service during first quarter 2015. The Cactus Pipeline will initially be designed to provide approximately 200,000 barrels per day of capacity.

The Eagle Ford JV Pipeline, which will connect with the Cactus project, directly serves the Three Rivers and Corpus Christi markets and can supply the Houston-area market through a connection to the Enterprise South Texas Crude Oil Pipeline.
