300-Unit Villa Espada planned for South Side S.A.

SAN ANTONIO – Locally based 210 Developers has plans to build a multifamily community about six miles from the Texas A&M University — San Antonio campus at the Mission del Lago master-planned community. Villa Espada will offer up to 300 apartments.

Construction is expected to start within three months and could be complete by late 2014. Apartments at Villa Espada are expected to average about $1.10 per sf.

Area developer Mark Tolley says 20 percent of the proposed units would be dedicated as student housing.
