DALLAS – Hunt Consolidated Inc. and Woodbine Development Corp have completed a $50 million facelift of the 1,120-room Hyatt Regency Dallas that updated all guestrooms, bathrooms and corridors. The new guest rooms were redesigned and reconfigured and feature new furnishings.

The observation deck in the attached 50-story Reunion Tower is being overhauled and should be ready for a public reveal in fall 2013.

When Hunt-Woodbine purchased the land for the hotel and tower in 1972, they paid $2.92 per sf. Today the going rate for property in downtown is $100-plus.
