Like a new neighbor? State Farm is there (Richardson)

RICHARDSON – KDC has begun construction on the 1 million-sf State Farm Insurance office project near the southeast corner of North Central Expy. and the Bush Turnpike.

The State Farm campus is part of a $1.5 billion transit-oriented development that KDC is building on 186 acres next door to a DART light-rail station. Along with office space, the overall development will contain retail, hotel rooms and apartments. as reported December 2012.

State Farm plans to consolidate operations from several offices around the country into the new building.
