SAN ANTONIO – Foreclosure postings in Bexar County have hit their highest mark so far this year, but they are significantly down from a year ago. Next month, lenders are moving to foreclose on about 869 properties.
According to data from RexReport.com, that’s a 26 percent drop from May 2012.
From January through May, foreclosure postings are down about 35 percent compared to the same period last year. Among Bexar County’s higher profile foreclosures were properties near I-10 and Loop 1604.
