Pieces move on Parks Legado chess board in Odessa
ODESSA – Parks Legado Town Center, a 65-acre mixed-use development located on SH 191, will be open this month.
A major feature is the 24,000-sf Plaza Park featuring a Spanish fountain, large stone fireplaces, gas lights and mature trees. The courtyard offers a life-size chess board and movies will be played outside.
The project is between the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and the Medical Center Hospital Wellness Center.
Phase 1 of Parks Legado Town Center includes The Residence Inn by Marriott, a 120-room hotel that is the newest hotel to open in Odessa; Aim Bank; and 27,000 sf of restaurant and retail space.
Western International is scheduled to break ground on the Marriott Courtyard and Hilton Homewood Suites in Phase 2, for a total of 340 hotel rooms at Parks Legado.
Phase 2 will also include Sewell Volkswagen starting construction this summer, plus Sewell Ford-Lincoln, Great Texas Oil Change and restaurant pad sites.
Preleasing has started on the Parks Legado Office Plaza, a 37,000-sf, Class A office building and an additional 20,000 sf of shop space.
Upon completion Parks Legado Town Center will include over 500,000 sf of businesses and will add over 150 jobs to the Odessa economy.
The Sewell Family of Companies and Epperson Company joined forces to develop the Parks Legado Town Center.
