HOUSTON – For March, Houston issued $473.2 million in building permits, a 10.5 percent increase from the $428.1 million in permits issued in March 2012.
Nonresidential permits declined 4.0 percent, from $297.9 million in March 2012 to $285.9 million in March 2013.
Year-to-date, nonresidential permits are up 31.1 percent to $1.08 billion in 2013 from $823.8 million in 2012.
