Grace Church buys Lake Air Lanes bowling alley

WACO – Grace Church, a growing congregation that now meets in an auditorium at Midway High School, has bought the former Lake Air Lanes building on Bosque Blvd. and will remodel it as the new home of the church for an opening around Thanksgiving.

The former bowling alley, located across Bosque Blvd. from the Extraco Events Center and not far from Waco High School, will provide the church 22,000 sf of space.

Bowlmor AMF was asking $875,000 for the building, “but the church didn’t pay that price,” listing real estate agent Jim Peevey said.
