MARSHALL, HARRISON COUNTY – The 123,500-sf Centennial Hall at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) will soon be taking shape at One Tiger Drive. The $24 million, 362-bed student living-learning community is scheduled to open August 2014.

The four-story complex will be located west of the Ornelas Spiritual Life Center.

The amenities designed for the facility include private bedrooms in four-bedroom, two-bathroom suites, study areas, seminar rooms, game rooms, and indoor and outdoor social areas.

Centennial Hall is the latest in a string of new construction and renovations on the ETBU campus.

The construction of the Ornelas Student Center, the complete renovation of Bennett Student Commons, and remodeling of Murphy Science Building and Fred M. Hale Business Building have all taken place since 2011.
