DALLAS – U.S. Cold Storage LP has restarted construction on a 500,000-sf warehouse facility, which will cost more than $25 million to complete.

The company first bought the site on Cockrell Hill Rd. north of I-30 in 2007, but the recession delayed construction of the project.

U.S. Cold Storage plans to employ about 60 people in the facility when it’s done. The building will replace an older warehouse that was constructed in the 1960s on Pulaski St.
