DENISON – National Government Services Inc. plans to open an office at a 20,000-sf facility in the Eisenhower Business Center, located at 2415 S. Austin Ave. National Government Services is a Medicare contractor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The federal health care contractor will bring more than 125 jobs to the city and expects to begin hiring management and associate-level employees by spring 2013, with positions starting in summer 2013 at the facility.

The newly created jobs will focus primarily on supporting National Government Services in processing Medicare claims.

"Once we learned that many Denison citizens already had experience in medical claims processing, it was a no-brainer," explained Jim Elmore, program manager at National Government Services.

The office space was previously leased as a warehouse space. Remodeling of the facility is scheduled to be completed by early summer. The finish out of the facility has an estimated cost of $819,000, according to state filings.

This is National Government Services’ first facility in Texas. The Denison Development Alliance awarded the organization an economic grant based on the percentage of payroll for the jobs up to $300,000.
