TrackingPoint firearms target Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE – TrackingPoint Inc. is leaving Austin and moving its headquarters to 130 Commerce Center in Pflugerville, where it will invest $6.7 million in new facilities.

The company plans to relocate its manufacturing and research and development to a 48,000-sf space. A $3 million, 500-yard ballistics lab on a 20-acre tract at the mixed-use development on SH 130 will also be constructed.

The company will generate $7.7 million over the next ten years toward the local tax base, according to the Pflugerville Community Development Corp.

TrackingPoint currently employs 72 workers, with plans to increase that number to 120 by the end of 2014. TrackingPoint is a technology company that develops precision-guided firearms.
