Taylor Morrison takes huge stake in Leander

LEANDER – Home builder Taylor Morrison Home Corp. has bought one of the largest Austin-area parcels in recent history — 2,100 acres in Leander. The land will be developed into a master-planned community and has been named Travisso.

Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers Inc. will partner with Taylor Morrison on the project. The partnership will spend the next year building infrastructure at Travisso.

New homes should be available by July 2014.
