PASADENA - Silver Eagle Distributors, the nation’s largest Anheuser-Busch distributor, has started construction on a $25 million, 400,000-sf distribution center at 3503 Pasadena Fwy.

The LEED-registered project will encompass 50 acres and is expected to be completed by second quarter 2014.

Once completed, the Pasadena distribution center will have the capacity to distribute 6 million to 8 million cases of product annually. Nearly 200 Silver Eagle Distributors employees will work in the new facility, which will include offices for sales, fleet, training and administrative departments.

The project is the distributor’s eighth facility in Texas. In addition to its corporate headquarters and warehouse in Houston, Silver Eagle Distributors also operates six other distribution facilities in Conroe, Cypress, Rosenberg, San Antonio, Carrizo Springs and Del Rio.
