DALLAS-FORT WORTH - The new home market in DFW still has a long way to go before it recovers from the recession.
Annual single-family home starts are only about half what they were in 2006. Despite huge demand, builders cannot start enough new houses.
Collin County cities dominate the top North Texas home building markets, based on annual starts ending in first quarter 2015 which can be seen in the chart below.
